Vietnam staff cost less than their Chinese Neighbours and they have a culture that is more compatible with western values when it comes to contract law.

The middle class in Vietnam is Rising and with it is the surge of people trained in factory work and management. Everywhere you go in Vietnam people are industrialists, they understand how to work and are very willing to become the next powerhouse of production in Asia. The rule of law is strong in Vietnam and so contracting with local companies is not the minefield that it can be when dealing with suppliers in China.

Allied Pacific Trading Company was founded by Peter Johnson (Australian Born) and his Vietnamese wife to help bring western quality to Vietnamese production. Often factories in Asia do not understand the quality needed from their supply chain. As a business owner in Australia, Peter was always Frustrated by the huge potential Asian Countries had to industrialise and supply the world with quality products at very low prices. The frustration was that the price was always tempting but the quality was often just not up to what would be needed in America, Australia or Europe. The problem is often a language barrier but it is also often a cultural barrier. The only solution to consistent quality for Peter's Australian customer was to move to Vietnam and start his own factory here.

So in 2020, in the midst of the global Covid Pandemic, Peter moved to Vietnam and started Research and development of some core products that could be made with high quality and shipped world wide.
